(a) whether no work is being undertaken under the Indira Awas Yojana in some States especially Uttar Pradesh and Bihar;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor and the action taken by the Union Government in this
regard; and
(c) the funds released by the Central Government to these States under the said
scheme during the last three years alongwith the amount spent and returned
respectively during the said period?

details regarding funds released, amount spent and houses constructed under the Scheme
in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during the last three years are as under: -
