Question : SETTING UP OF EMERGENCY SERVICE CELL BY IOC

(a) whether the Indian Oil Corporation has set up an Emergency Service Cell in some States for ensuring safety of the LPG consumers ;

(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise ; (

(c) whether such cells are likely to be set up by the Indian Oil Corporation and other oil companies in other parts of the country ; and

(d) if so, the details thereof, State-wise ?

(a) to (d) : Yes, Sir. Oil Companies have set up Emergency Service Cells in Metros/major towns to attend leakage complaints etc.. These Cells are being operated after the normal working hours of the distributorships and also on holidays.
