Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN POVERTY ALLEVIATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the cases of irregularities/ corruption/diversion of funds have come to the notice of the Government in implementation of the RAY, PMAY(U) and earlier BSUP, IHSDP;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State/ UT-wise and scheme/programme-wise along with the action taken/being taken by the Government thereon; and
(c) the other steps taken/being taken by the Government to check irregularities/ complaints?

(a) & (b): Complaints and cases of irregularities/corruption/diversion of funds received under the schemes being run by this Ministry at various levels in the Ministry are sent to State Governments/ Union Territories (UTs) concerned for remedial action, as the execution and implementation of projects are undertaken by the respective State Governments / UTs and their implementing agencies, primarily Urban Local Bodies. Details of all such cases are not maintained in the Ministry.
(c): In order to check irregularities/complaints in Implementation of the projects under these scheme, the State/ UT Governments are advised to strictly follow the scheme guidelines and utilize fund for the purpose for which central grant is released.
