Question : IDENTIFICATION OF TENANTS IN GOVERNMENT COLONIES



(a) whether any Private Agency has been hired on contract by the Directorate of Estates for identification of tenants in Government colonies;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether any allottee has been served notice to vacate the quarter based on the survey report of such agency; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government in this regard?

(a): Yes, Madam.

(b): M/s Eagle Vision Services Private Limited, Rohini, Delhi has been engaged for carrying out the inspection of the residential premises of Directorate of Estates located at Delhi.

(c) & (d): No allottee was given notice to vacate the quarter solely on the basis of inspection report. The inspection report of M/s Eagle Vision Services Ltd. is examined in the Directorate. In case subletting is suspected, the Deputy Director of Estates, after affording full opportunity to the allottee to present his case, decides the factum of subletting in a Quasi-Judicial manner. In proved cases of subletting, allotment of quarter is cancelled. The allottee has right to appeal against the order of cancellation.
