(a) the number of villages electrified in each State under the RGGVY during the last three
years, year-wise;
(b) the funds released for the purpose and spends by each State during the period;
(c) whether some State Governments have submitted Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to
the Union Government under the Yojana; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon, State-wise?

(a) : The details of number of villages electrified in each state under the RGGVY
during the last three years, year-wise are at Annex-I.
(b) : The details of the funds released for the purpose to each state during the period
are at Annex-II.
(c) & (d) : Yes, Sir. 611 projects have been received by Rural Electrification Corporation
for 570 districts. Projects received state-wise and action taken thereon by the Government are
at Annex-III. The Government sanctioned 235 projects for implementation in Phase-I of the
scheme taking into account the approved outlay of Rs.5000 crore as capital subsidy for X Plan.
Balance projects are proposed to be taken up in XI Plan after the approval of the competent
authority.
