(a) whether the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is now ready to provide its Garuda phone for Rs. 200/-only;
(b) if so, the terms and conditions under which this service would be provided;
(c) whether the MTNL proposes to make its Garuda service roaming on the lines of Reliance WLL service; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a)&(b): Yes, Sir MTNL was providing Garuda Phone for an initial deposit of Rs. 200/-as promotional offer. The balance Rs. 4800/- are payable in 24 equal interest free installments of Rs. 200/- each The promotional scheme has been closed on 23.07.2003.
(c)&(d): There is no such proposal at present.
