(a) & (b) 13 newly constructed buildings of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) were inaugurated
and foundation stones were laid for 6 KV buildings recently, the details of which are as
under:-

(c) & (d) Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has informed that it has received 12
proposals from the State Government of Andhra Pradesh for opening of new Kendriya
Vidyalayas at Anakapali (Distt. Visakhapatnam), Naidupet, Kavali, Kalichedu & West
Gudur (Distt. Nellore), Vankayalapadu Village, Krishnayapalem & Navuluru (Distt.
Guntur), Srikalahasti, Gudipala & Jangalapalle (Distt.Chittoor) and Ongole (Distt.
Prakasam).
Except the proposal for opening of a new KV at Anakapalli which has been found
to be fulfilling the mandatory requirements as per the norms of KVS, the remaining
proposals have some discrepancies / inadequacies and these have been brought to the
notice of State Government of Andhra Pradesh for necessary rectification.
