(a) whether vedic education imparted to students in Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda
Vidya Pratishthan an autonomous body under the Human Resource Develo,pment
Ministry is not recognised by any board;
(b) if so, whether this has put students passing out facing difficulties in admission for
higher education and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government is not closely examining the possibility of granting an all
India recognition or school board/ CBSE board level equivalence to Vedic
certification;
(d) if so, the details thereof;
(e) whether the Government has also sought CBSE views in the matter; and
(0 if so, the outcome thereof along with the other steps taken by the Government to
establish individual Gurukul boards in the country?

(a) : The Vedic Education imparted by Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya
Pratishthan is presently not recognizedby any Board.
(b) : The pass out students in the courses Veda Bhushana and Veda Vibhushana run by the
Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan are getting admission in Sanskrit
universities in the country viz. Rashhiya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi; Rashtriya Sanskrit
Vidyapeetha, Tinrpati, Andhra Pradesh; Shri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati,
Andhra Pradesh; Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bangalore; Jagadgrru Ramanandaclnrya
Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur; Sri Somnath Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Somnath,
Gujarat; Sri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Puri, Odisha; Sri Chandrasekharendra
Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu; and Gurukul Kaogr
Vishwavidyalay4 Haridwar, Uttarakhand; and Maharshi Daya4and University, Rohtak,
Haryana.
(c) to (f; : The Government is examining the possibilities of recognition of the courses nrn
by the Matrarshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan in consultation with the
concerned organizations including CBSE. No proposal for establishing individual Gurukul
Boards is under consideration of the Government at this stage.
