(a) whether several power generation projects have been delayed or in-operative due to irregularities in allocation of Coal Blocks; and
(b) if so, the details thereof, project-wise including each project’s installed capacity and the steps being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a): Power generation projects are delayed or are inoperative due to several reasons which have a cumulative effect. The allocation of coal blocks is under investigation and the matter is sub-judice. Hence it is not possible to make a specific assessment.
(b): Does not arise, in view of (a) above.
