(a) whether the Reliance Petroleum has claimed any compensation from the Government/Public Sector Oil Company; and

(a) & (b): For the controlled petroleum products namely petrol, diesel, domestic LPG and kerosene for public distribution, import parity refinery gate prices are paid for upliftment from the Reliance Petroleum Limited (RPL). For the decontrolled products, the payments are made as per bilateral agreements between the oil companies and RPL. The payments in respect of Central Sales Tax (CST) and terminalling charges are made to the RPL on the same basis as applicable to public sector refineries as per the compensation mechanism under APM.
