Will the Minister of AYURVEDA,YOGA AND NATUROPATHY,UNANI,SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY(AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether herbal cure for dengue patients has been found and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether clinical trials of the said ayurvedic medicine has also been conducted and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the time by which the said herbal medicine is likely to be approved for use?

(a): No specific herbal cure for dengue fever has been found.
(b) & (c ): The Central Council for Ayurvedic Sciences an autonomous organization under Ministry of AYUSH has initiated development of coded drug formulation through Standardization & Quality Control studies and the preclinical experimental safety studies have been initiated. The time lines and decision for completion of drug development process will depend upon the outcome of the preclinical studies.
