Question : OVERCHARGING OF TOLL

(a) the details of toll collecting agencies on National Highway (NH) - 1, NH-2 (Delhi-Agra stretch) and NH-8;

(b) whether the toll collecting agencies on the said NHs are over charging toll even before completion of widening work on these NHs;

(c) if so, the facts in this regard;

(d) whether the Government has taken any action against these toll collecting agencies; and

(e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) The details of toll collecting agencies on National Highway (NH)-1, NH-2 (Delhi-Agra) and NH-8 is at Annexure ‘A’.

(b) & (c) The user fee is being collected as per user fee notification and provisions of the concession agreement.

(d) & (e) Does not arise.
