Question : OCI Card Holders Travelling India

(a) whether the people of Indian origin and the Indian diaspora having Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cards will not have to carry their old, expired passports for travel to India including in post-COVID-19 period, as was required earlier; and

(b) if so, the details thereof/implementation status thereof/response received/violations noticed/action taken till date, country-wise?

(a) & (b): OCI Cardholders are not required to carry their old passports while travelling to/from India. They are allowed to travel on the strength of their existing OCI Cards bearing old passport number along with the new passport.
