(a) whether the Government has sanctioned a special package for rehabilitation scheme of National Child Labour Project (NCLP);
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the amount out of the above that is likely to be spent in Uttar Pradesh during the current year?

(a) & (b): Government is implementing the National Child Labour Projects (NCLP) scheme in 250 districts of 20 States of the country with a Plan outlay of Rs. 602 crores for the Xth Plan with a view to rehabilitate children withdrawn from hazardous occupations and processes. Under the scheme, these children are provided with education, nutrition, stipend, vocational training and health care etc.
(c): Under the NCLP scheme, an amount of Rs. 14.24 crores has been released to Uttar Pradesh to - date during the current financial year.
