Question : Road Projects in Rajasthan

(a) whether the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the road projects regarding the construction of Debari Bypass and the conversion of four-lane roads into six-lane roads in Rajasthan and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government proposes to provide facilities to the people affected by the said road projects and undertake the work of Vehicle Underpasses (VUP), Pedestrian Underpasses (PUP), Passenger waiting room and plantation etc. works;

(c) if so, the details thereof and the time frame set for the purpose; and

(d) the details of the completed works along with the funds spent thereon so far by NHAI in Udaipur region?

(a) Yes Sir. The work for Six lane Greenfield new Udaipur bypass from Debari to Kaya commenced on 30.11.2017. Further, upgradation from four lane to six lane for two projects namely Debari to Chittorgarh of National Highway 76 and Kaya to Shamlaji section of National Highway have also been taken up.
(b) & (c) Yes Sir. The details of Vehicular Underpasses (VUP), Pedestrian Underpasses (PUP) and Passenger Waiting Room on the work in Udaipur region are given below:
