(a) whether the Government has envisioned a target for training 20 lakh apprentices under the Apprentice Protsahan Yojana and if so, the details thereof;
(b) the details of progress of the Apprentice Protsahan Yojana along with number of apprentices trained under this scheme till date, State-wise; and
(c) the details of the industries having registered to avail this scheme till date, State/ UT-wise?
(a) No Madam, target under Apprenticeship Protsahan Yojana was to train 01 lakh apprentices.
(b) the Apprenticeship Protsahan Yojana came in force from 31st October 2014 to 18th August 2016, after which it was revamped with a new scheme by name National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and details of the apprentices trained under the scheme during the 31st October 2014 to 18th August 2016, State-wise are given below:
