(a) the details of the bridges constructed/under construction on NH 57 on East West corridor;
(b) whether there is any proposal to construct check dams on the river Bhutani Balan for safe
guarding various road stretches and bridges on the said NH; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and provision made in this regard, stretch-wise on the said NH?

a) Thirtyfour (34) bridges on National Highway No.57 over Bhutahi Balan, Tiluga, Paith Ghat,
Kamla Balan , Bagmati , Kosi and Adhwara Group of rivers are under construction on East West
Corridor;
b) There is no proposal to construct check dams across river Bhutahi Balan for safe guarding
various road stretches and bridges on the said NH;
c) Does not arise.
