Question : National Family Benefit Scheme under NSAP

(a) whether the Government proposes to increase the maximum age limit of the persons/families identified under National Family Benefit Scheme covered under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) from 59 years to 65 years;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which this is likely to be done; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): Ministry of Rural Development is not proposing to change eligibility conditions for receiving benefits under National Family Benefit Scheme of National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP).
