Question : Electro-Homoeopathy

Will the Minister of Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government is aware that electro-homoeopathy system is nearly 150 years old and is being used for medical treatment for the last 130 years in the country and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Union Government proposes to provide Government recognition to the said system of medicine;

(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by which the said decision is likely to be taken; and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The electro-homeopathy system of medicine is not recognized by Government of India at present.
(b) to (d): No proposal for recognition of electro-homoeopathy has been received till date.
