(a) the time since when the production of crude oil was started in Mumbai High;
(b) whether the production of crude oil has been decreased in Mumbai High due to old Oil Wells;
(c) if so, the details thereof along with the percentage of decline in the production level; and
(d) the corrective measures taken or being taken to enhance the production of Crude Oil in Mumbai High?

(a) Mumbai High (erstwhile Bombay High) field was discovered by Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in 1974 and production of crude oil from the field was started in May 1976.
(b) & (c) Details of crude oil production from Mumbai High Fields during last three years i.e. 2015-16 to 2017-18 are as under:-

(d) To ensure longevity and enhance production of crude oil from Mumbai High field, redevelopment schemes were launched by ONGC in 2000-01. Phase-I of redevelopment projects of Mumbai High North and South was completed in 2006-07. Additional development of Mumbai High North was completed in March, 2008. The Phase-II of Mumbai High North and South redevelopment project was completed in June, 2014. Another project for development of Western Periphery of Mumbai High South field was completed in February, 2018. Phase-III of Mumbai High North redevelopment was completed in May, 2018.
