Question : Setting up of MSMEs

(a) whether Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been set up in the country particularly under the MUDRA Yojana in the country during the last three years;

(b) if so, the total number of such units set up in the country during the year 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19, State/UT wise;

(c) the total value of the business transacted by above units during each of the said year; and

(d) the total amount of subsidy released by the Union Government to the State Government of Haryana for setting up of MSMEs?

(a)to(c): Under MUDRA Yojana, loans up to Rs.10 lakh are provided to micro units for non farm, income generating activities. Details of loan accounts and amount sanctioned under the Scheme in last three financial years as per information on MUDRA portal is given in the table below:

(d): The margin money subsidy given to Haryana under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme for setting up of MSME units was Rs.4664.1 lakh in 2018-19.
