(a) whether the public sector banks in Bihar are not providing credit facilities to
the people under Golden Jayanti Sahri Rozgar Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Rozgar
Yojana and Samekit Gramin Vikash Karyakaram;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the credit made available to the beneficiaries under the schemes during the last
three years, State-wise and scheme-wise?

(a) and (b) As per the information provided by Reserve Bank of India and Bank of India,
the convenor Bank of State Level Banker`s Committee for the State of Bihar, all Public
Sector Banks in the State of Bihar are providing credit facilities to people under the
centrally sponsored schemes viz. Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana, Swaranajayantt Shahari
Rojgar Yojana and Integrated Rural Development Programme renamed as Swarnajayanti Gram
Swarojgar Yojana which is in operation from 1st April, 1999.
(c) The details of loan disbursed by banks during the last three years, State-wise and
scheme-wise is given in the statement I, II & III enclosed (for two years only as available).
