(a) Under the Central Rural Sanitation Programme 10 Model Villages of Kerala have been approved during the last three years and current year. (one village in 1997-98, six villages in 1998-99, three villages in 1999-2000 and none in 2000-2001).
(b) The funds made available to the State/UT Governments under the Rural Sanitation Programme during the last three years and current year, State-wise are given in the Annexure-I.
(c) As per the projects received from the States the details of components approved under these Model Villages are largely construction of household sanitary latrines, sanitary latrines for institutions, drainage facilities, protective works to open wells, soak pits/garbage pits etc.
(d) (e) & (f) Yes Sir, the details of Model Villages approved during the last three years are given in the Annexure-II.
