(a) the number of transactions done through Unified Payment Interface from 1st December, 2016 to till date;
(b) whether the Government is aware of reported incidences of loss of money by using new Unified Payment Interface BHIM App.; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the corrective steps taken to enhance the security features of the aforesaid App.?

(a) The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has apprised that the number of approved financial transactions done through Unified Payment Interface (UPI) from 1st December 2016 to 26th March 2017, is 1,58,23,116.
(b) and (c) NPCI has apprised that no such incidences of loss of money by using new Unified Payment Interface BHIM App have been reported.
