(a) the number of Gold Bars smuggling cases detected in
Air India flights during each of the last three years;
(b) the cases in which more than 20 kilos gold bars seized
during the above period;
(c) the number of cases in which the offenders/culprits were
identified, prosecuted and punished during the last three years,
year-wise; and
(d) the preventive steps taken to avoid recurrence of such
incidents?

(a): 11 cases of gold bars smuggling cases were detected in Air
India aircrafts during the last three years, as per details
indicated below:-
Year No. of cases(b): Out of cases reported in (a) above, in 2 cases, more than 20 kilos gold bars were seized during the last three years.
