(a) to (b): The Law Commission, after detailed examination of the issue of ‘Electoral Reforms’ in its entirety, has submitted its 255th report which, inter-alia, contains a recommendation for examining the system of proportional representation vis-à-vis first-past-the-post system. The report is under consideration of the Government.
