Answer given by the minister

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR WATER RESOURCES, RIVER DEVELOPMENT AND GANGA REJUVENATION
(DR. SANJEEV KUMAR BALYAN)
(a) & (b) The proposal of 36 water bodies from Rajasthan with planned restoration of irrigation potential to the tune of 5614.25 ha at an estimated cost of Rs. 98.13 crore was received in November, 2015 for inclusion under RRR of Water Bodies scheme. The proposal was examined in Central Water Commission (CWC) and views/observations were communicated to the State Government. The compliance on the same has been received and the proposal has been approved by State Level Sanctioning Committee (SLSC) in its meeting held on 15.02.2017. However, State Government has not submitted the proposal for release of Central Assistance (CA) as per the guidelines. The release of CA for these schemes depends upon the submission of the proposal as per the latest guidelines and availability of funds.
