(a) the category under which Azamgarh, Jaunpur Junction- Jaunpur (City) Railway
stations under the North-Central Railway falls;
(b) whether the standard of facilities available at the said railway stations match the
category they fall under;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(e) the steps being taken by the Government for renovation and beautification of the
dilapidated building of these stations?

(a) The Azamgarh station of North Eastern Railway fall under `A` category. Jaunpur
Junction and Jaunpur City stations of Northern Railway fall under `B` & `D`
category respectively.
(b) Yes, Sir.
(c) All the minimum essential amenities like Booking office, Drinking water,
Waiting hall, Seating arrangement etc. as per norms and according to the
category of stations are available at these stations.
(d) Do not arise.
(e) Station buildings of these stations are in satisfactory condition.
