(a) the details and the number of Non-Governmental Organisations in the State of Tamil Nadu which have been provided with funds during the last five years;
(b) whether the Government is aware of the fact that some NGO''s is receiving money from Government in a fraudulent manner during the last several years as no organisation of this kind exists there; and
(c) the action being taken by the Government against founders of such organisation?

(a) One Non-Governmental Organisation in the State of Tamil Nadu namely, ‘Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra’ has been provided financial assistance amounting to Rs. 45.00 lakh during the last five financial years i.e. from 2016-17 to 2020-21.
(b) No case regarding receipt of Government money in a fraudulent manner by an NGO based in Tamil Nadu has been reported to this Ministry.
(c) Does not arise in view of (b) above.
