(a) to (c): Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has been implementing Mega Food Park Scheme to provide modern infrastructure facilities for food processing along the value chain from farm to the market. Ministry provides financial assistance for setting up of Mega Food Parks in the country and the proposals are invited through Expression of Interest (EoI). So far, MoFPI has accorded final approval to 2 (two) Mega Food Park projects in Surat and Mehsana districts of Gujarat and presently, there is no further proposal under consideration with Ministry for setting up of Mega Food Parks in Gujarat.
