Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the details of new medical colleges established in the country during the last three years, State/UT and district-wise; and
(b) the number of M.B.B.S. seats increased both in Public and Private Colleges/Institutions during the said period?

(a) & (b): As informed by National Medical Commission (NMC), 90 medical colleges have been established during the last three years. State/UT-wise details are at Annexure-I. During the said period a total of 13280 MBBS seats (7180 Govt. and 6100 Private) have been increased.
