(a) The annual membership contribution of India to Afro-Asian Rural Development
Organisation (AARDO) is US $ 106,000.

(c) AARDO is a forum with which India is closely associated so as to further cooperation in
the field of rural development in the member countries. Our contributions have helped the
Organisation to sustain its main activities such as human resource development and development
of pilot projects through partnership with the rural beneficiaries, addressing the basic physical
and social infrastructure, transfer of technology and poverty alleviation programmes through
income and employment generating activities.
(d) AARDO in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs has organized various
training courses with the participation from different countries including India on subjects such
as
