Question : TOURIST TRAINS

(a) whether the Railways plan to introduce more tourist trains to various tourism spots in the country to improve rail connectivity between metros and tourism centres;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the details of the tourist spots proposed to be connected by these new trains?

(a) to (c): Introduction of trains to connect various places of the country including tourist spots is an ongoing process subject to traffic justification, operational feasibility and availability of resources.
