(a) the number of branches of Housing Development Finance Corporation in various States;
(b) whether HDFC has set up any new branch in Kamataka during 2000-2001; and
(c) if so, the details thereof alongwith the proposal to set up new branches of HDFC
during 2000-2001, state-wise?
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI BALASAHEB VIKHE PATH) :
(a) As per the information furnished by Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC),
there are 77 branches/ offices functioning in various States.
(b) and (c) HDFC has set up two new branches/ office in Kamataka during 2000-01,one branch
each at Bangalore & Mysore respectively.
