(a) whether the Government proposes to build an international airport at Agra;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to introduce additional flights to Agra Airport in view of the Commonwealth Games; and

(a): No, Madam.
(b): Does not arise.
(c) & (d): Government has laid down route dispersal guidelines with a view to achieve
better regulation of air transport services taking into account the need for air transport
services of different regions of the country including North-East region. It is, however,
up to the airlines to provide air services to specific places depending upon the traffic
demand and commercial viability. At present, no schedule domestic Airlines is operating
air services to/from Agra. However, Kingfisher Airlines has proposed operations on Delhi-
Agra-Delhi Sector in the Winter schedule effective from 31-10-2010.
