(a) whether the narrow gauge line between Raipur and Kendri in Chhattisgarh has been transferred to the State and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether sanction has also been granted for rupees 7.1 crore for construction of road for maintenance of narrow gauge Loco and Coaches as was proposed;
(c) if so, the time by which the said amount is likely to be paid by the Ministry of Railways; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): It has been decided in consultation with State Government of Chhattisgarh to close the narrow gauge line between Raipur and Kendri and transfer the Railway land to the Chhattisgarh Government. Chhattisgarh State Government has already paid `139.04 crore towards cost of the land and `7.10 crore for construction of new shed at Kendri for maintenance of narrow gauge Loco and coaches.
