Question : No Objection Certificates for Coal Block Allocation

(a) whether the States have to face many difficulties in getting No Objection Certificate from the Government which is provided by the Government after the allocation of coal blocks;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government has formulated any action plan to solve the problems being faced by the States in this regard and to issue No Objection Certificates on time; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): There is no provision of obtaining a No Objection Certificate from the Union Government after the allocation of coal blocks.
