Question : HALLMARKING ON SILVER ORNAMENTS

(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce hallmarking for silver ornaments;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the number of jewelers who have voluntarily opted for hallmarking of their products so far; and

(d) the fresh steps taken by the Government for formulating and implementing the plan for silver hallmarking?
