The Central Government has declared Dolomite, as minor mineral vide Gazette Notification dated 10th February, 2015. The survey and exploration of both major and minor minerals is a continuous and on-going process taken up by various Central Government exploration agencies, State Directorate of Geology and Mines, State/Central Public Sector Undertakings and private sector companies to augment mineral resources in the country.
