(a) whether Oil and Natural Gas Corporation formed a Welfare Trust;
(b) if so, the salient features thereof;
(c) the extent to which this trust propose to improve and social economic balance of the country;
(d) whether any concrete proposal has been worked out in this regard; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e): Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. has not formed any Welfare Trust. However, ONGC has been undetaking various measures for the socio-economic development of the areas in and around its area of operation, such as organising medical camps, conducting adult literacy programmes, providing infrastructural facility in rural areas, organising relief measures in times of natural calamities and assisting State and District Administration in such social welfare measures.
