(a) to (d) : The Ministry has not allocated any fund for development of Kelzar Temple as it is not an Archaeological Survey of India protected monument.

Government of India commemorated 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement during August 2017 to August 2018. A National Implementation Committee (NIC) under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Home Minister had been constituted for the purpose. A proposal from Nagar Panchayat, District Wardha, Maharashtra, had been forwarded to the Ministry of Culture by Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Sh. Ramdas Tadas for setting up of a National Memorial at Ashti, Wardha, in the memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives during Quit India Movement.

The proposal was examined in the Ministry and Hon’ble Member of Parliament had been informed that the proposal can be considered by the NIC as part of commemoration activities. It was, however, requested that a detailed project proposal along with budget estimates for creation of infrastructure in the memory of the event may be submitted to the Ministry. The detailed project proposal along with budget estimates have not been received so far.
