(a) whether the Government has received any report from the Intelligence Bureau (IB) with regard
to possible attacks on some political leaders and VVIPs by terrorists including the Maoists;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government has taken any action in this regard; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): Yes Madam. Government receives threat inputs/assessment from Central Security Agencies
regarding possible attacks by terrorists including Maoists on some political leaders and VVIPs.
Security arrangements for all such threatened leaders/VVIPs are reviewed and adequately strengthened
in the light of specific threat inputs received from Central Security Agencies. Such inputs are also
shared with State Governments/UT Administrations concerned for providing appropriate security to the
threatened leaders/VVIPs.
