(a) Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) (2016-20), there is no provision of procurement of certificate from the training centres. Only the training is given at the training centres, and based on the assessment of trained candidates done by separate assessment agencies, certificates are issued by the concerned Sector Skill Council (SSC) to the passed candidates. The State-wise no. of training centres (TCs) empanelled in the country under short term training (STT) is given at Annexure I. The District-wise no. of TCs under STT in State of Rajasthan is given at Annexure II. There is no provision for TCs under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) component of PMKVY ( 2016-20).
(b) The State-wise and gender-wise number of certified candidates in the country under PMKVY (2016-20) is given at Annexure I. The district-wise and gender-wise certified candidate in State of Rajasthan is given at Annexure II.
(c) Under Special Projects component of PMKVY (2016-20), 1.75 lakh candidates have been trained, of which 0.95 lakh are women across the country. In State of Rajasthan, 2,690 candidates have been trained, of which 1,171 are women.
(d) Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has taken an initiative for skill training of migrants including women returned due to pandemic under PMKVY2.0 (2016-20) for 116 districts of 6 States as identified under Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyaan (GKRA). Under this plan, target of training 3 lakh candidates (1.5 lakh each for Short Term Training and Recognition of Prior Learning) has been allocated to 116 districts of 6 States namely; Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.
