(a) the names of trains in which the Government propose to increase capacity in AC 2 Tier and 1st Class coaches in each- zone;
(b) whether requests for increasing AC/1st class coaches have been received from different States/Zones; and
(c) if so, the details thereof with the action taken in each case?

(a) There is no proposal to increase capacity in AC 2 Tier
and 1st class Coaches.
(b)&(c) Yes, Sir. Augmentation of AC/1st Coaches in trains
is an ongoing process subject to traffic pattern,
availability of coaches and operational feasibility.
