Question : CLOSURE OF LABORATORIES OF CSIR

(a) whether the Government proposes to close down some laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research(CSIR);

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and

(c) the steps taken for alternative arrangements of thereto?

(a) No Sir. There is no proposal by the Government to close down any laboratory of CSIR.
