(a) whether any proposal of extending the Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent
Girls-SABLA to cover the girls upto age of 22 is under consideration of the Government;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government has undertaken/proposes to undertake a nation-wide survey to
understand the nutritional deficiencies of adolescent girls; and
(d) if so, the details and the findings thereof ?

(a) & (b) : No Madam, at present there is no proposal of extending the Rajiv Gandhi Scheme
for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls-SABLA to cover the girls upto age of 22.
(c) & (d): The Ministry of Women & Child Development has not undertaken/proposes to undertake
a nation-wide survey to understand the nutritional deficiencies of adolescent girls.
