(a) whether efforts are being made to give protection and encouragement to the
adivasi dialects of the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether Maharashtra Adivasi Anusandhan Sanstha is also working in this direction; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) Yes, Sir. The Ministry of Tribals Affairs provides funds to State Tribal
Research Institutes including the Maharashtra Adivasi Anusandhan Sansthan, Pune, to
undertake various activities of Research and Evaluation including the protection of
Tribal dialects, as part of preservation of tribal culture under the Central Sector scheme.
