THE MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES, MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS, MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ATOMIC ENERGY AND DEPARTMENT OF SPACE (SMT.VASUNDHARA RAJE):

(c) The indigenous cryogenic stage including engine is scheduled for realisation by 2003-2004. The project has made considerable progress in terms of erection and commissioning of the test facilities, realisation of the engine, production of liquid hydrogen from the inhouse plant, initiation of qualification of engine and the fabrication of stage tankages and components.

(d) There are no bottlenecks to develop indigeneous cryogenic engine other than the complexity of technology.
