Question : ITC Frauds of GST

(a) whether the Government has unearthed 8,000 cases of Input Tax Credit (ITC) frauds of Goods and Service Tax (GST) worth Rs. 35,000 crore in a recent nationwide crackdown against unscrupulous entities;
b) if so, the details thereof;
c) whether any steps are being taken to recover the amount from the tax evaders;
d) if so, the details thereof; and
e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Sir, the details of Input Tax Credit [ITC] fraud detected by CGST formations under CBIC for the F.Y 2020-21 & 2021-22 (upto June 2021) are as follows:
