Will the Minister of URBAN DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) whether the commissioning of some of the metro rail projects are pending due to delay in getting safety clearance;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons for not taking timely decisions, projects-wise and these steps taken/ being taken by the government in this regard;
(c) whether the Government proposes to set up an independent safety certification agency for speedy safety clearance of metro rail projects;
(d) if so, the details thereof and the time by which it is likely to be set up and made functional; and
(e) the loss suffered by the Government due to the delay in commissioning of completed projects as well as in completing projects, project-wise?
